About the hotel
The world's first zoo-themed hotel - the Lindner Park-Hotel Hagenbeck - is located directly at the Hagenbeck Zoo and Tropical Aquarium - the green oasis of Hamburg between the city center and the airport.
The 158 spacious rooms, including seven suites, are designed in African or Asian style, depending on which floor you are on. All rooms have bathrooms with a shower or bath in an elegant design. The rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, work area, ISDN telephone with voice mailbox, fax, modem and internet connection, DSL WiFi, 26" LCD flat screen with digital TV & video on demand and various music channels, minibar and laptop safe .
The spacious restaurant Augila has over 200 seats in a colonial-exotic ambience of the 19th century. The international cuisine is paired with the preparations, herbs and spices from distant countries and ensures a culinary trip around the world with extraordinary taste experiences. But of course there are also North German dishes on the menu.
